During our CTS meeting this week, we had a very important guest from Safe House Project come talk to us. Amber gave an outstanding and informative presentation to our staff about the dangers of trafficking in our country. At KEV, we believe every individual in our communities deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered. We appreciate this opportunity to collaborate with an organization such as Safe House, as it helps educate our staff to recognize and assist those who require help.
Safe House Project firmly believes that trafficking can be eradicated through the power of unity, compassion, and collective action. They are fully committed to increasing survivor identification beyond one percent through comprehensive education, providing emergency services and placement to all survivors, and ensuring every survivor can access quality, safe housing, and holistic care. Their visionary approach aims to unite communities and put an end to trafficking, restoring hope, freedom, and a bright future for every survivor.
We are committed to fine-tuning our resident care on every level by training and preparing our teams for any situation that could occur. We know that by working together, we will achieve our goals and build a brighter future for all.
